funny (or scary, depending how you look at it) story:

today, in my class World Sustainability (with the Prof who looks like Hugh Jackman in The Prestige), my prof asked some kid to remind him to tell a story about something that happened during the Gulf War if we still had time after the movie we were watching.  we then watched the movie and there was still time left so the kid tells him that he is supposed to tell a story.  he couldn't remember what story he was supposed to tell and apparently neither could anyone else.  so, I said "wasn't it about the Gulf War?" to which the girl sitting next to me immediately responds with "oh yeah, something about Mexico right?"

wooo!  it's been too long since i promised this.  life is so crazy, though.  i had my quantum mechanics midterm today so now that that's over and my comp sci project is out of the way as well, i'm at a lull.  so i thought i would take a few minutes and post these pictures of this thing i built.  the background of the whole thing is that becca wanted this thing from the container store.  it was $80 so i thought, "i can build that instead!"  well, long story short, many months later and more hours of labor than i'd like to admit, i finally finished it.  here are some pictures:
